This was a project I worked on over the summer of 2018.
In Zimbabwe, a high percentage of payments are made by a system called EcoCash, which is often slow and/or unreliable. A recent university graduate named Sebastian Asher approached me with an idea to improve payment methods by capitalising on the ease of QR Code and their ability to store all the information needed for payment transfers.
By the end of August I had completed a working prototype for Sebastian, with the aim of promoting the idea to banks for start-up funding.
